Butterick 5279 Misses A Line Bias Or Tapered Skirts In Two Lengths -Item#VP-559-TAS


With this pattern you can make either a fitted A line bias skirt as in View A or B in either mid calf or ankle length with a waistband and side zipper. You can also make a close fitting tapered skirt as seen in View C, that is above the ankle in length and has an elastic waistband and back slit. The A Line skirt in View D or E is above the knee in length and has a waistband and back zipper. View D has a side front slit.

Suggested Fabrics:
Skirt A,B,D,E: crepe, faille, lt. wt. woolens and challis.
Skirt C in moderate stretch knits only: interlock, jerseys and stretch velvet.

This Butterick 5279 pattern was copyrighted in 1997 and contains 10 pieces and instruction sheets. Only two pieces (9 & 10)have been cut and they are cut to the largest size (18) Envelope has some wrinkles and wear on the corners and edges but is in very good condition for its age.

This is a fabulous original vintage sewing pattern not a copy. This is a popular pattern, but is very rare to find especially in this good of condition.
