This Meadowlark Park No. 16 pattern makes a women's jacket that has simple lean lines with inseam pockets. The length of the jacket can be adjusted as you desire. The "strings" detailing is where the fun starts as they can be made very simple or can be anything from sequins to fur to ribbons and beads. The detailing also offers many quilting possibilities. You might want to consider making this jacket out of UltraSuade for a really breathtaking result.

It is recommend that the fabric has good body and not too much movement. Wools, denim, linen, jacket weight silk, jacket weight cotton, jacket weight knits that do not have a lot of stretch.
