This great McCall's4649 pattern makes a misses cocktail dress. Dresses A,B,C,D orE have princess s eaming, back zipper closure, long or short sleeves with gathered caps, sleeve heads, and skirt variations. Dress B is trimmed with ruffle and purchased flower. Dress C is trimmed with a bow. Dress E is lined.

Suggested fabrics for dresses A through D are taffeta, crepe, crepe de chine, lightweight brocade, cotton damask, polished cotton, moire. Dress E in single edged scalloped lace. Dress E Lining from lining fabrics or china silk. Dress A through E (sleeve heads) organza. Note: All garments are not suitable for diagonals, uneven stripes or uneven plaids.
